More Visit with Nanny Photos...

Before heading to visit Nanny... Lj got to drive YeYe's tractor!

And playing in the leaves...

Once at Nanny's, Grandma and Lj made cookies for Nanny.

And before we left we had to have a family photo with Nanny.

May God bless us all during this holiday season and let us all know how special everyone in our lives are to us every single day!

Jesus love you Nanny!

We have not talked yet about how the month of November went by so quickly.  Earlier in the month we learned that Nanny was experiencing Liver failure and was not doing so well.  We felt compelled to visit as soon as possible so we flew to VA for a 4 day visit.  We feel so blessed to have had at least one more visit with Nanny.  We especially were so glad to give our Lexi at least one more visit with her.  It was a busy weekend for sure and we loved seeing all of the family.  Lj especially loves cutting up with her YeYe!  As the end of the 4 days approached, the last night we were there, Lexi sang for Nanny.  It was so sweet and so magical that we will never forget it.  Unfortunately, I only had my cell phone camera to take photos and video.  That night we did get her singing but the light was not so good.  So the day we left, I had her try again.  This time the light was good but I had no idea that I needed to hold my phone vertically.  Still this video just shows the love Nanny has for Lexi and the love Lexi returns.  Never could a child sing so beautifully, nor to a more precious woman.  She sang many songs but this was just one that we did capture.  I'm so proud of our little Lj and so blessed to be a member of this family.  And this year as we counted our blessings, we were so glad to have the blessing of Nanny being with us regardless if we were in VA or not.

November…. already!

Well now… half over so I’ve got some catching up to do.

Honestly at the moment, I am beginning to like Fall less and less.  It’s hard to believe that it’s already the 18th and I’m so far away from being updated! Halloween was fun and Lexi had a great time.  This year we participated with my school’s trick-no-treats and after Lj finished going door to door, she loved helping me give out treats to other kids.

The Friday night before trick-or-treating night, we went downtown for the Beggar’s Walk and then to Mom and Dad’s church for a lot of great fun.   Here are a few pictures…
